I do it without food before a workout, However I believe it doesn't matter as long as you take it.

I personally couldn't take creatine with food... With drinking so much liquids its best to do it on an epmty stomach to avoid bloat

i have had my fare share of creatine supplements...it diminishes it's potential if your on a full stoamch.. no-explode is the best creatine and nitrix oxide surge ever i have been on no-explode for 2 months incredible im never training without it
