What's up to everyone. Im new to this site, but not totally new to lifting. My workouts have provided very good results, except for my pesky Bi's don't seem to peak off... they remain flat. just looking for some advice or maybe some exercises to help me in getting the "tennis balls" in my bi's.

thx, DbP

wel l usually lack of fat will help with your peak but rember muscle shpare is genetic.

you can try exercises like preacher curls and concentration curls but I really believe it comes down ot genectics and low bf percentages.

alright, good stuff. I figure it's my genetics because my Bf is only 5% ...ill just keep busting my ass and hopefully something good will come of it over time. thx for the input!

you might just be using too much volume for the arms. Most people do endless ammout of arm work for a small muscle like bicep, which already has been somewhat trained on back day, so try using less volume, like one or two excersises for biceps....

Also, like smallguy said, genetics plays the biggest role in your muscle shape. I have somewhat of a flat biceps myself, and they do stretch the tape a little

Your bodyfat is 5%?? Why do you have it so low?? Are you sure it is that low??

Yeah storm, it's 5%. I play football at my university and we have to test it twice every six months with a trainer. It's so low 'cuz of all the intense shit they make us do, plus I play wide receiver so it's non-stop running!

5%?? i agree with storm...how do they test your bodyfat %?? because i can somewhat see my abs, and some bodyfat tests put me over 30% BF....

*just a notification for everyone...im being sarcastic and proving that some bodyfat detecting methods are not always correct...*

I agree with GP

after a back day i usually only do 1-2 excersises for my biceps because for a lot of the back lifts, you are using alot of your biceps as well.

5% is very unhealthy and any college football coach would tell a player to be no less than 10-12% because it is the healthiest BF to be making gains and taking hits. 10% will still show abs and 5% generally takes drugs to assist in, unless you have an eating disorder.

Bicep peak can be obtained with low BF, genetics and maybe a little extra work for the Brachialis. This muscle lies underneath of the actual bicep and hitting it can cause the bicep to be pushed up more. Hammer curls and reverse curls will hit it. This is no gaurantee though. It still takes genetics for muscle shape. Make sure you are hitting BB curls too.

Same here. I actually did hammers AND preacher EZ curls yesterday and my arms are so fired. I have been playing with volume lately and I think I just found my limit.

If you're seeing abs and are over 30% you have a fat ass or legs or something. I am guessing it was messed up how ever they took it. Cause I wasn't seeing abs a while back and was at 13.7% taking that eletrycal inpedence (sp?) and with the calibers I was right at 13% also.

hard to get a peak that's mostly genetics. If you are indeed 5% it would be wise to bring that up for football, that's getting close to bbing BF%.

Close? It's ok bro, you can come out and say it. That is what alot of guys compete at most of the shows. Notice BBers don't stay there year round though, they can't make gains at that BF.

my trainer(s) take our body fat mainly by clamping some kind of pinchers to your leg and back then getting an electronic read from a little computer on the handle of the pinchers. I forget the name of the device.

Also, I would really like to know how you see your abs at 30%, cuz even when I was at 12% I couldn't really see mine.

they probalby using theFattrack II I personlaly sdo;nt tihkn anything besdies the water test and this new scna (I forget the name) are any good for acuracy because there is too much room for human error and too many factros liek hydration and if you have traned recnetly will thorw off results.

it if u took a skinfold measurement of my bakc right and got 10 mm wait till I hit up deads and work my back and it all pumped u could get 2mm that would really thorw off the measurement,
