i wa just wondering if it is ok to take creatine three times a day or i am only supposed to take it after i work out?

one time a day is fine. 5 grams for good old monohydrate but you can get away with less with the newer creatines out there

It's perfectly safe to take it that often. You would be wasting it because you'll be shitting it out.

Creatine basically provides energy. It converts ADP (di-phosphate) into ATP (tri-phosphate) The additional molecule helps increase overall power.
