Hello all,

Great forum!

Just getting my fat ass back in the gym and am looking for a diet to build lean muscle mass while losing some fat.

Can anyone post some of your diets that have been successful for you?

I'm 5' 8" 190 (no clue on my body fat...too much).

Any diet suggestions would be appreciated. Also any supplement reccomendations would be helpful as well. I'm planning on whey and glutamine. Contemplating Andro and Creatine, but not sure which brands to go with.

to lose some weight while gaining mass, you need to lower your daily caloric intake, but make sure you get (at the absolute least) 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. So, 190g would be the least amount you should take, but 380g/day (that = 2g/lb of bodyweight) is more ideal. to help supplement your protein, i reccommend Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC). you can get it at TrueProtein, http://66.63.171.49/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=63, for only $3.99/lb. WPC is versitile, so if you take it as your pwo shake mix it with water for fast absorbtion, but if you take it at night before bed, you can mix it with milk, so that the milk adds some protein and slows down the absorbtion process.
