Dont have much experience with them but even the "fat free" ones still contain a degree of fat and the normal french/italian ones can be quite fattening

When it comes to dressings, you should consider what you've got in your salad. Your body NEEDS some fat in order to absorb the good shit that you eat. If you're dicing up some avocado in your salad, you're alright, they're loaded with healthy fats, as well as most nuts. If you're not, then avoid the fat free dressings, go with low fat or low cal, just check the labels for which version of your fave has the highest added sugars/carbs...they like to sneak em in to keep the flavor good. You might wanna check out olive oil/vinegar based versions, vinegraittes, instead of creamy dressings, as they usually have a lower calories to begin with.

I think pretty much all the creamy store bought dressings are terrible. theyre all made with partially hydrogenated vegetable oil. that shit's terrible for ya. make your own vinegar/oil dressings and use olive oil instead.

Mmmmm, estray, I never realized you were so culinarily inclined! That's so....sexxxy!!!

But you're right, just about anything made at home is gonna be healthier than what you buy instore so far as dressings go.
