Default Protein Meals

Hi im looking to increase my protein intake. Wondering if this is any good.

4 eggs for brakfast 10:am (24 g of protein)
can of tuna for lunch 12:00 (30 g of protein)
apple + watermelon-snack

Turkey sandwiches 4:00pm (30 g of protein)
glass of milk 4:00 pm (16g of protein)

can of fish (20 g of protein)
glass of milk (16 g protein)

Do you believe that this is a pretty decent start. I weigh bout 165 pounds i dont have the funds to be buying these costly protein shakes at like 40-50 bucks a week? SHould i consume more protein on weightlifting days?

theres plently of places online and even stores where you can buy a months supply of whey protein for less then 30 bucks, and it wont taste bad either.

you should try to get it least 1g of protein per pound

try having 4-5 smaller meals a day as opposed to 2 or 3 big ones

drink a gallon of water throughout the day

your plan is a decent start, are you trying to gain weight?

No im no longer trying to gain weight. I just heard when lifting weights you need protein for your muscles to grow.

yeah of course it rebuilds the muscle you use during the workout

just try and get 1g of protein per pound of weight of your body even on non workout days.

you should have a protein shake or recovery meal after your workout

theres no reason to be spend 40-50 dollars on protein each week most come in a 5-6 pound bottle and have enough servings for a month, maybe even more depending on how much your intake is. 100% whey taste good (choc) if your worried about taste. Mix with milk or water.
